Would Gaga be going backwards if she put out a pop album for LG5?

Do you think Gaga would be going backwards if she put out a pop album for LG5, in the same vein as all her other pop albums?

After Cheek to Cheek and the Oscars performance, people have a much higher expectation of her. People say she has reinvented herself and they expect her career to take a new trajectory. So what do you think? Will she be going backwards if she puts out a purely pop album, or can she still take pop to another level and continue to impress everyone, as she has already done so far this year?

I don't know.I think that it won't be really far from her previous pop albums... Btw LG5 is a pop album.That's sure.. I hope that she will make something different and new though

Yes. As you said people just learned she has a great voice, a pure and genuine talent and they would say she "wasted it" with bland pop songs.

A pop album is ok, but she has to SING! She needs bops but more importantly great and quality ballads that show her singing skills.

Her past albums are so different from each other in terms of sound that I think there's no such thing as "same vein as all her other pop albums". I've been saying this in every thread about the sound of music lol her next album: the base genre will most likely be pop, but she will give it a twist as she's been doing with all her past releases.

I am sure they will do a great job.BUT don't have crazy expecations..They will most likely produce music that sounds like TF-TFM.. Gaga said she is going back to her roots anyway

She is a pop artist so I expect her to put out pop music. She will probably make music that is influenced by other genres and infuse certain musical elements to her work, but essentially it will always be pop.
