Natalia Kills has a new name (she now goes by Teddy Sinclair) and a new band. The Brit revealed that she’s no longer interested in releasing music as a solo artist in a Twitter Q&Q yesterday (July 7). “I always wanted to start a band,” the 28-year-old tweeted. “I adore Hole & Garbage so that’s what i’ll do next. I need to go darker + wilder.” So it’s really the end? “I’m not putting out another ‘Natalia Kills’ album… it’s time to say goodbye! It’s been a good ride!”

I feel like this is part of a whole list of reasons for why she's never really taken off. As much as people claim reinventions help a pop star keep a career too many just leaves you with no audience, no fans (because if you just keep changing up from what they originally loved about you, why even bother), and just a hollowness of no real direction, strategy or commitment at all.

Like, darker than unnecessarily public humiliating a HUMAN FKN BEING that was already in a vulnerable position for allegedly plagiarizing your anonymous boyfriend's ultra original "suit, tie and combed back hair" style and then trying to turn tables and act like a victim???

Girl, here's an advice you'll never be smart enough to take: you need to go lighter and become MUCH more sensible. A simple name change won't do.
