Sources say Katy will take a break after her tour and she still hasn't worked on next record. So I don't think she'll release anything in 2016 (or at the very end of the year).

Adele is set to release her album in few months. I think Gaga won't be her competitor (especially if she features on her album too). And whatever happen Gaga will always have competitors ! Now she has to be a serious one herself and be feared again ;) 

The next competition I could see is Adele vs Rihanna.

Actually it depends on what she has on her album. Apparently they made her rework the album to make it more commercial  

I guess her label wants more Rihanna hits.

I'm excited. I just hope she's smart for when she releases it. Like supposedly Adele is coming back winter 2015 (not sure how legit it is) and Katy is also wanting to release music in early 2016.
