Why do the radio stations keep playing gaga??

I remember when they played G.U.Y. All the time on my radio stations last year. Honestly it was very common to hear G.U.Y.. loved it.  

then people started calling her a man again  

Where do you live??  The local radio stations in Chicago NEVER played G.U.Y.  I never heard that song on the radio.  I called like 3 different radio stations about 5 or 6 times to request the song and they never told me no but they simply ignored my request and would play Applause or DWUW.  

No wonder the song didn't do good on radio.  What do you expect when radio doesn't support it??

I feel like as fans most of us exaggerate when we say we never hear her. Shes certainly not on the radio or used generally as much as Katy, Kelly, or Rihanna (because they are used A LOT A LOT). But honestly they do use her singles in random playlists across the country as well as on certain top 40 stations as spontaneous filler when they're not playing the usual same 6 songs. I hear Gaga out in the world just about every week at some point or another. Like I said, shes not used as much as some of her peers, but shes not literally non-existent (well certain singles are of course but certain ones are used in spontaneous rotation or on generic playlists for stores/parks/etc). For example, the playlist at Disneylands Downtown Disney has included Paparazzi, Bad Romance, and Applause. LA Fitness gyms generally all use the same playlists which include Marry the Night, Born This Way, Just Dance, Poker Face, Paparazzi, Alejandro, Bad Romance, Applause, and The Edge of Glory. Seems like shallow examples but nevertheless its kind of proof that shes not literally non-existent. I just don't think most people care to pay attention and acknowledge it lol My ear, however, does a little twitch when I hear Gaga in the distance. Call me obsessed or whatever obviously im here, but I can assure you all at least in Los Angeles and Orange County shes not as irrelevant as some might argue.

I rarely hear Gaga on the radio, but if I do, it's normally Poker Face or Bad Romance. I remember hearing DWUW and G.U.Y. quite a few times when they singles, but haven't since. I wish she was on the radio more!
