When you listen Ray of Light from start to end you understand that Madonna created some pop masterpiece

I've listened to it months ago, no "Pop masterpiece " for me... It simply doesn't do it for me

Andrei you're not fooling anyone, we know you don't like Madonna :usrs: Before you claim it is, this obviously isn't a drag - it's an explanation of why some people hold up Madonna albums as such a standard.

With the exception of American Life, the albums which most Madonna fans regard as being 'so great' all had fantastic critical reception too - metacritic scores above or equal to 80 (had metacritic been around at the time, LAP would've had a 92 and ROL an 87) and ROL, Music and LAP appear in the well known '1001 albums you must hear before you die' book. Obviously critics' opinions aren't the be-all but Madonna fans aren't alone in claiming how great some of her albums are and those opinions don't even root from their success in sales.

She has mediocre and just above average (or even bad) albums too and I doubt anyone would claim otherwise, but she still does have some shining examples of amazing lyrical content and innovation in sound and structure - even Hard Candy manages to succeed in that element.

If you don't like her albums (but I seem to remember you giving COADF ~9/10 in a review - an album that I would actually agree is entirely overrated :usrs: ) then that's obviously fine, but there's so much there and so much exploration of a specific sound at a time (pre-MDNA anyway :emma: ) and I don't even know how to finish this sentence so I'll agree that Rebel Heart (like ARTPOP) suffers from an 'everything but the kitchen sink syndrome' and she needs to get that in check.

Fooling who? I said it's my opinion at the end of the comment :toofunny:

It still won 4 Grammys and is one of the most critically acclaimed pop albums of all time. You are free to dislike her music, but no one can deny the fact that she had provided us with many quality albums.

congrats to her :applause: I didn't said she didn't provide you or  someone else with quality albums , I just said that you can't expect for everyone to think that her albums are quality if they simply don't like it  I guess I might have worded wrong in a previous post

but it really doesn't impress me , no matter how many stats she has or how much you throw those stats in posts  just as much as you supposedly aren't impressed or care about my posts or personal opinions :sis:

Considering in your review you gave COADF 9.25/10 (I went and looked to make sure my memory was right) it's safe to say she either does impress you or you have a flawed sense of what a 9/10 album is :emma:

Contradicting yourself is hardly helpful to your statement :usrs:

Babel

Born this way is my favorite Gaga album.

But I think this one is also up there, and it's probably underated and always forgotten.

An amazing eclectic album from start to finish. It contains everything.

It even inspired the queen of pop to follow trend (the results are other topic :neyde:)

firstly, I don't even think Blackout is that good and the only impressive songs from that album in my opinion are its singles.

secondly, I doubt Britney even had as much input in making Blackout as Gaga had with Born This Way :awkney:

Confessions on a Dance Floor is indeed one of the strongest albums by Madonna, however, I'm talking about major pop girls here, which don't include Madonna since the turn of the 21st century.

2005 is 21 st century

Is she a major pop girl? And what album has she released that's even on the level of ARTPOP?

1000 forms of fear is 10x better than ARTPOP

I prefer btw (before the "fake Stan" comments come in my way from idiots)

Are people ignoring the OP? No veteran  pop stars that have a dozen+ albums.

the title sais "ever"

btw is the best album this decade
