who cares it performed amazingly and will no doubt bring us at least 2 more sequels

A lot of the critics complaints were over supposed s-xist portrayals of Bryce Dallas Howard's character in the movie... Which those claims are ridiculous. The film is not s-xist

well yes theres no denying its doing great

i just think its not a great film

good movie not the bling

The movie deserves every bit of succes that it has.

A lot of work went into it, its one of the best movies in a while, as a Jurassic Park fan this movie was like a dream come true. All the haters can stay pressed cuz this movie will NOT stop slaying :Jase:

I watched it 3 times in the movie theater now, and everytime I was ****ING SLAYED. The ending is cinematic bliss.

the movie is horrible

it's basically cool special effects

script is bad plot is horrible and predictable

but congrats i guess......

I kind of agree. The effects were really cool and the nostalgia factor made it fun, but the plot was awful (in my opinion) and I was cringing after the first fifteen minutes and continued right through to the end.

I've seen every Jurassic Park movie in theaters since the beginning. I've read the books a million times and have worn out my dvd of the first film. I usually am able to find a few things to like about the other films (JP II and JP III), but this one I was having real problems with. They lost me very early on, and I was really hopeful about it based on the previews. I found the jokes corny, I didn't care for the protagonists (all good actors though) and the script completely fell apart mid-way through.

Just my opinion though.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

as a huge JP fan I'm so Happy for all the JW success. It really was unexpected. I  was not disappointed with the film at all.
Cant wait to see it again and again all summer long

That's about the same for me. Others enjoyed it a lot, and that's perfectly fine, but I just think the series keep dropping in quality for each new addition. I think there were some ideas that were good (as in every addition), and again, the effects were amazing (spared no expense) but it seemed to ignore the important points made in the first film and even the sequels.

I am really glad it did well and others enjoyed it, maybe I will really like the next one. I know I will wind up getting it on DVD. It's like Star Wars for me, I keep coming back. I hear those four melodic notes from JP and already I get weepy. It's like crack.

To me, JP II and III are more guilty pleasures for me. I don't always agree with Nostalgia Critic but he basically nailed my problems with the second film in his review, for the most part anyway. As for the third film, I thought the story was extremely weak but they brought some elements in from the novels, I thought the sets were really cool as well, and I liked the new dinosaurs. For the most part I thought the first two sequels were a lot of fun. But it was so bumpy for me with this new one. Maybe I'm being too hard on it but I didn't walk away feeling the same as the others.  It wasn't like I didn't have any fun, but it just felt so empty to me after the movie was over with. I really felt that they didn't really care about the script or canon of the other films and just put all their energy into the effects. Which is fine I guess, it seems to have worked out well for them. I personally just had too many problems with it overall. I do try to be fair because I highly doubt anything will, in my opinion, match the wonder and amazing story of the first movie so I try not to take it out on the sequels and give each one a fair shake. This was just the first time I walked away feeling really hollow afterwards.

But hey, just my opinion.
