When i play it in my car i always have to raise the volume for it to be "equal" to the other songs of ARTPOP i played before. Same thing on my ipod. And you know what? djBuffoon 12,123 Posted June 18, 2015 Share Posted June 18, 2015 "Applause" is the same volume as the others, it just seems less so because the opening synth arrangement is set at an unexpectedly subdued level, and remains there for the rest of the track. It isn't until the beat kicks in that the opening makes sense in the bigger picture.Nonetheless, I usually have my iPod set to "Sound Check", which has all of the songs set to peak at the same volume.
