I heard it was a part of a contest where the producer asked Monsters to write a rap about Lady Gaga to an instrumental he posted and eventually with the power of pitching, the winning rap was found out to be performed in the song by Gaga herself. Of course it's just an in between eras fun thing for Monsters, but I wouldn't exactly call it a "joke".
