What am I trying to disprove? Did you even read what I said. I simply said he learned racism from his parents, my god. You are so delusional that you think taking a 1-2 hours to cover a story is racism because they didn't have live feed inside the church recording him shooting (although that might still not have been fast enough for your standards), and you think that a--lyzing a situation is racist because it is doing more than saying "woah all americans are really racist."

God forbid there be intelligent discussion on why this happened beyond "everyone is racists!"

Most news outlets were headed that way and many were already there. News organizations were reporting on it within 30 minutes of the shooting.

The police weren't releasing all the details yet, due to the fact that they were concentrating on getting descriptions, getting film and pics together and trying to get that information out to the public, to track down this armed and dangerous killer who was on the run. First things first! 

You keep trying to paint the picture that US media doesn't care about this incident, and nothing could be further from the truth. Get off of GGD and pop forums. Turn on your TV, go get a newspaper, go to Yahoo or any other central news collecting site and you will see this story everywhere. Your assessment of the attention these murders are getting is completely innacurate.

The church shooting happened around 9 pm. CNN broke into their regular programming and was reporting on it and it was all over media sites within 30 minutes of the shooting. These weren't livestream news outlets, but national news organizations. You are pulling this after midnight timeframe out of your ass and trying to paint an innacurate picture of what actually happened with news organizations in this country.

The U.S. Justice Department is treating this shooting as a hate crime, due to the words used by the shooter. Investigators are looking into links with white supremacist groups. They will be a--lyzing his computer, phone and all contacts. As more information is discovered, new charges will be forthcoming. 

Why is it so important to report on the crazies, when the majority of people here don't get their news from the idiots at Fox News. Everyone here knows they are right wing nuts.

Lindsey Graham downplays race after black church shooting: People ‘looking for Christians to kill them’

 

Republican presidential candidate Lindsey Graham reacted to a mass shooting at a historically black church in home state of South Carolina by suggesting that the shooter was “looking for Christians to kill them.”

 

On Wednesday, Dylann Roof allegedly shot and killed nine people at Emanuel AME Church in Charleston. A witness said that he told them that he was there “to shoot black people.”

 

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, at least 19 hate groups are based in South Carolina, but it was not year clear if Roof was connected to any of them.

 

Graham told hosts of The View on Wednesday that his niece had gone to school with Roof.

 

“Strange, disturbed young man,” the senator noted. “Emily said in school he was just a quiet strange kid. Seems like one of these Newtown-type guys.”

 

“Once thing it’s not — let’s talk about what it’s not, in my view — it’s not a window into the soul of South Carolina,” Graham insisted. “It’s not who we are, it’s not who our country is, it’s about this guy. This guy has got tons of problems.”

 

He continued: “I can’t explain this. I don’t know what would make a young man at 21 get so sick and twisted to kill nine people in a church, this is beyond my understanding.”

 

“Do you think it’s a hate crime or do you think it’s more mentally disturbed?” one of the co-hosts asked Graham.

 

“Probably both,” he replied. “There are real people out there that are organized to kill people in religion and based on race. This guy is just whacked out.”

Yes, I know and I called this idiot whacked out. Why not post comments from the hundreds of people in the government and on the majority of news sources calling this a hate crime? 

You are searching for the idiot minority, hoping to prove that the US government and reputable news outlets aren't looking at this shooting as a hate crime, and you are innacurate in that assessment. I fully agree with you that there are some idiots out there, many of them racist idiots, but that doesn't mean that those sentiments are the ones being expressed by the majority of the media, by the government as a whole, or by the majority of the public. 

You are trying so hard to find these stories, but you don't live here. You aren't seeing how this country is truly reacting to this massacre. Watch CNN, watch the nightly news on NBC, CBS or ABC. Read reports from reputable news sources. I'm watching Rep. James Clyburn right now discuss this as a hate crime and is currently discussing if the shooter was tied into hate groups on the Internet. I've seen several other members of congress discuss these exact thoughts throughout the day, as well as leaders in local government on my local news station tonight.

Of course you are free to post the stories you find while digging around for them, but I'm also going to share that you are sharing opinions from the minority, not the majority.
