She recently went to the finals of RuPaul’s Drag Race, but says she’s not particularly interested in attending award shows—even if they’re a good opportunity to send a once-homeless youth on stage to give A-listers a homily. She responds better to the unbridled, flamboyant support that RuPaul’s contestants gave one another as they performed. “Beyonce would never be down in the front row cheering on Katy Perry,” she says. Perhaps because unlike people who are in the throes of coming out, pop stars often have to pretend to be something they’re not. She is an excellent singer with great vocals, but that's about it. I don't get why so many people like her so much and even Katy stans her. Like, no. Just no. EDIT: nobody needs the cheering of someone like Beyonce. She needs to get over herself. EDIT #2: I probably sound like a butthurt and pressed Stan right now but my point remains. I think she's talking about the difference between being respectful and being dishonest when it comes to other artists and their material/performances/successes. Okay I mean I kinda understood what Miley was saying but at the same time I didn't.. Just cause she talks about so much things and doesn't really go into detail about them ya feel?
