Jurassic World hits 1.5 billion dollars and becomes #3 movie all time

I'd recommend anyone who hasn't seen Jurassic Park go watch it. (The original from the 90s) It's a really great movie, and the effects are incredible. (Not just for the times- the effects they had would be considered amazing nowadays too!)

I haven't seen Jurassic World yet, but we're going tomorrow and I can't wait!!!

​Yeah Jurassic Park is just one of the main movies that permitted all the CGI we have today in every movies. It pushed all the limits ! Jurassic Park doesn't even get old with time... Definitely one of the most important movies in the history of cinema !

It was an enjoyable movie, especially for a continuation of a Hollywood trilogy that was ****ty after the first great movie.  

Still it's no LOTR/Hobbit or Starwars.

I still think the biggest movie of the year in total grossing will be Mockingjay Part 2 or, at least, it will be very close to Avengers 2.

Mockingjay Part 2 will get 900-950 it probably ends at #2 #3 at domestic box office...

 

JP has a really good start it will take a massive gross but Star Wars will slay every single one.....

​Not so sure... Don't forget winter releases tend to earn less than spring or summer...

SW will debut huge for sure, but 524M WW will be hard to beat (especially for a winter release)... I'm even surprised JW did it to be honest !
