My Clear/Best Recording Of 'TIHTY' + My "The Hunting Ground" Film Review

My friend and I saw "The Hunting Ground" tonight, and you can read our review below. Please check it out, it will only take a couple of minutes maximum  

Tonight, we were able to see the second of the two special screenings of “The Hunting Ground” here in Sydney, Australia, for the annual Sydney Film Festival. We entered the cinema just in time, and the film basically began right as we sat down. It opened with a positive view on college, showing home videos of several U.S. students reacting happily after they find out they had just become accepted into the U.S. colleges that they applied for and wanted so desperately to be accepted into, including some of the largest in the U.S., like Harvard and the University Of North Carolina. Shortly after, the movie takes a turn into the reality of what occurred on these college campuses once the students arrived. We hear from several of them, opening up to the audience about their horrific experiences with rape and s-xual assault. Statistics of reported s-xual assault of each University ranged from 100-300 per year! Yet only 1-3 predators were expelled, with some colleges expelling 0 students. The punishments that were handed out to the predators from the addressed 1-3 students were usually minor, like a semester long ban, or even community service (even in rape centres! Why would they put a rapist in a centre with rape victims?).

The film overall was very powerful, and hearing the victim's stories was so hard yet it was amazing to witness them share their stories with the world. As the movie progressed, we saw how in the end, a group of victims team up to take a stand against rape in college campuses. We also see how the campuses are covering up rape accusations so that the colleges don't have a negative look to them, which is absolutely horrible. Hearing Gaga’s song “Till It Happens To You”, written by Gaga and the amazing Diane Warren in HQ was also a very special moment. We honestly recommend that when it airs on CNN in September, everyone checks it out. It is honestly such an eye opening film that is full of statistics and really gives you an insight into what really goes on after the victims speak up and how their stories are covered up.

To rate the film, we would definitely give it a 10/10. It was straight to the point, full of powerful and brave stories and statistics, and is exactly what was needed right now to combat s-xual assault.

It was recorded in a movie theater so it isnt going to be HQ like the studio version of the song. BUT the vocals are alot clearer and the overall sound of the song is much fresher and cleaner, unlike the other recordings we have which were done using phones. My recording uses a proper audio recorder
