Not letting her move on or accepting her for changing as a person- bad.If we're going to cut people down for doing the wrong thing, we should build them up when they decide to make it right. There is something to be said for kids... being stupid. And then growing up and maturing, you can't hold people accountable for stuff they said when they were actually young. But again, I don't know the ages in question here.By the way, to everyone who says she seems really sincere here... I'm sure the sentiment is accurate but you're assuming she wrote this herself, and a lot of times it's PR people who write apologies. This one is very, very standard. Don't engage with non-white culture if you are white. Let's all be Taylor Swift and just write break up songs PC will give us the the most bland and sanitized and apolitical pop culture ever, until people get sick of it.The real result of the anti-cultural appropriation kick will be less exposure to hip hop themes for white audiences and less commercial success for the rap genre.
