I just got PRISM and I love it! I was just salty before because Roar was doing better than Applause (childish, tbh) and didn't get it, but I actually really love it.

I love Roar, it's anthemic and inspiring without being cheesy like all he other self-love anthems (BTW Firework, for example)

Well, my family is Catholic and they stopped attending church because they don't agree with many of the beliefs of the Catholic church, nor do I. However, I still believe in a personal God, just not many of the Christian (Catholic) beliefs, stories of the bible, etc, if that's what you're asking. So, i'm theistic person, just not "religious".

There's a lot of interesting ideas about this, and entire philosophies and authors that talk about this idea.  For example, an early American philosopher called Emerson talked about this in "Over Soul." His idea was that divinity was the human collective when we united. 

 

I love this quote, and I feel like it explain his viewpoint well: "We live in succession, in division, in parts, in particles. Meantime within man is the soul of the whole; the wise silence; the universal beauty, to which every part and particle is equally related; the eternal ONE."  Notice how he capitalized ONE to signify that it is a divine entity.

Popstar Katy Perry has revealed she is now paying little attention to what people say about her, confessing she is the “captain†of her career.

The 29-year-old singer, who is very much loved-up in her relationship with John Mayer, has also ditched Google alerts to avoid seeing what the public are saying about her.

"I am the captain of my career. But I am also Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, which is my real name," she told Joy magazine. "My image is just something superficial. I also try not to pay attention to what other people think of me.

“I used to have Google alerts set up, which would notify me about everything that was being written about me. But I've stopped all that now. After all; there are more important things in life."

Even though the 'Fireworks' hitmaker is notorious for her colourful and bold outfits, Perry will always dress according to how she is feeling.

"I just want to make people smile and show myself in a funny light," she added. "Sometimes I enjoyed playing a blue-haired troll. Sometimes my mood was more romantic. I still go with whatever I'm feeling.

“Even the Candy Queen from the Teenage Dream days is still in me. However, I wouldn't advise anyone to dye their own hair! It was a huge mission going from pink back to black. I had to get professionals involved, or else my hair would have fallen out by now!"

I never understand why celebrities would Google themselves or read articles about themselves anyway. Avoiding articles and comment sections is the #1 thing to do imo, they can be brutal.  

 

Not entirely sure what to make of the rest of the article. Is she implying that she separates "Katy Perry the superstar" from "Katy Perry the person"?
