Why cant you just accept that katy has bigger sales than gaga. That doesn't make gaga any less of a great artist. Prism is about to outsell Beyoncé for crying out loud and you still call her a singles artist? Truth is that Katy is probably the most consistent artist when it comes to charts success maybe along with Rihanna. I tend to believe that her and her team are really smart and that she will continue to be consistent. She has improved A LOT as a performer this era and her tour looks amazing. (probably a bigger production than anything gaga and Rihanna and even beyonce have done so far) so I don't get what you mean when you say she doesn't spend money on the tour. You keep saying that you care about the music but that was not the attitude of this fan base when gaga used to sell big time. So I can only assume that all these we don't care about charts success are complete lies. Most of you would be more than excited if gaga could pull this charts power and be so consistent when it comes to success. BE ready because if katy manages to have another successful era like prism and teenage dream she will leave gaga and Rihanna behind in the general public s opinion. With another album, she's going to have 100x platinum at this rate in the US alone. Rihanna and Taylor Swift have both sold more digital records than Katy .. Yeah. Rihanna still is the best selling digital artist in the US with 74M of tracks sold (as a lead artist) followed by Taylor Swift with 72M. In my opinion Gaga is over thinking it and has been becoming out of touch. Gaga is more talented than KP but that elitist attitude will hurt her in the long run. Just bash me now I do not give a flying f***. The video streams of Roar on YouTube alone stand around 545 million, which has an RIAA equivalent of 5.45 million downloads (100 streams = 1 download).
