Spiritual should have made the cut to the normal edition of the album.

Walking on Air is the best song.

International Smile is fun, I can see that doing well.

Not here for the rest. I'm done.

(Although I can see This Is How We Do and Ghost doing well too. Album of singles and fillers imo)

It sounds like a nice little pop album.

Nothing groundbreaking enough for my personal taste. The lack of passion is the biggest turn off for me.

My honest opinion: It sounds pretty much like they recycled every basic pop melody on this planet and put it on the album. Many of the melodies are even similar to some Teenage Dream songs, and most of the snippets lack depth. The instrumentals (except for Dark Horse) sound much to airy and light. I don't like it. It's not like one would expect a dark and deep Katy Perry album, but these snippets are the embodiment of vacuity.

It's hard to light a candle, easy to curse the dark instead.

It's pretty okayish, but far far aways from being "dark or mature". Was that a joke?

And some titles are pretty meh... international smile, double rainbow?

It think it is a good generic pop album and a couple songs are more than good.

But I get so much Dr. Luke/Ke$ha feelings.   :eww:

Don't forget to praise the legendary song Walking on Air :legend:

nothing special... I like Legendary Lovers, Unconditionally, Love Me, Dark Wh*res...

Double Rainbow, WoA and Roar are OK

the rest is meh...

I expected more dance tracks like Hot n Cold...

Ugh, I hate these kinds of multi-snippets videos... It's like labels keep records under wrap like crazy for ages, but just before the release, they give away and spoil every surprise with snippets and promo singles, so much that in the end, it's like you've heard the whole record already... Same with movies: the weeks before a release are so full of last minute teasers and TV spots that it's like you've seen the whole stuff already.

I definitely hope Gaga isn't going down this road... A few snippets to hype us is Ok, but I wanna have surprises for Nov. 11th. We've been already teased an awful lot with Swinefest, don't you think?

We should accept the fact that when Popstars say "dark and mature", whether they mean music, clothes, perfume or whatever... they basically mean: "Pink sugar coated candy sticks".

It's hard to light a candle, easy to curse the dark instead.
