Apparently (according to sources) they are now friends... and will officially announce their split at the end of the on the run tour. Michael 533 Posted August 5, 2014 Share Posted August 5, 2014 Impossible to say, as sometimes break-up rumours that are really hyped up for weeks seem more believeable than they actually are. For example, I remember a few years ago there were rumours swirling for weeks about a Brangelina break-up, and it was even reported on the national news here in the UK even though it turned out to be completely untrue. HOWEVER, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Beyonce and Jay-Z were splitting up. It's very interesting to me that a spokesperson for the couple hasn't denied it, even though these rumours have been persisting for weeks now. It's obvious that they wouldn't announce it in the middle of a world tour. It would be horrible for their image, lose them and a lot of other people a lot of money, and would just be a total PR nightmare. If they are over, they will wait to announce it when the tour has finished. But I have no doubt in my mind that Beyonce and Jay-Z will be worried over the impact this will have on their image, as they really have presented themselves as being the golden couple of showbusiness and until recently there really wasn't any cracks appearing in their brand.
