This is one of those things that are made just for the sake of sending a message without considering the long-term repercussions. Is this decision even favorable to them, both sales-wise and image-wise? I don't think so. It's an unwise decision driven by their hurt ego. And that's clearly not best for any kind of business. And by the way, what would they do when this album turns out to be a sales juggernaut once released to the physical retailers? Would they still refuse to the demand? If so, Beyonce will not be the one who'd lose money anyway.

One Five Ten

Does anyone think Jealous is the underrated masterpiece of the album?

In just over three minutes, Bey expresses Jealousy at her lover, retaliation, and regret with some amazing emotion.

It's a killlleeerrr track and an amazing ballad that I think everyone would eat right up if she released it.

I don't blame Target at all.

If playing favourites with itunes the first week becomes common practice, it will really hurt physical CD sellers. Besides, it's monopolistic. Don't expect other stores to promote her CD with much enthusiasm.
