Hexxx 2,244
i think it's a matter of how it's done or what the album is about. i'll support what she has to offer but the possibilities scare me. Dayum 240
Seriously are you guys unable to read? I want her to do rock when she's ready. I want her to show off her songwriting more. Because I know she's capable of more and I expect the best. Enough of the "I live for the applause applause applause. Live for the applause plause" because yeah its catchy but so many other things can be catchy as well But she can show off her songwriting, or her capability to do so much more in pop music too. So there is not really a compelling reason to switch to another genre where she has the ability to the same under the current regime. But of course this is up to her whim and management. Also, there is the best of both worlds option, which is to do pop and rock. One does not simply exclude the other to appreciate another.

Shadow 6,625
I don't expect anything from anybody except to learn, to grow, and being civil and mature with others. If people think for themselves, I encourage it because I like thinking for myself. I like what I like and others like what they like. I don't put Gaga or other people in a box. Who the hell wants to be in a box? Why do that to others?I love rock, metal, certain R&B, certain pop, and other forms of music. If I don't find what I desire, I'll look for it somewhere else.Gaga has provided what I enjoyed before, so I can always check up on her to see what's new. If she did more industrial, rock, synth, or retro sounding music, I'll definitely be here for it. Do your own research.
Head Empty 25,074
God lots of people want her to do so many things for the next album it's so annoyingwhether you like it or not she's probably going to continue making pop music because she's still a popstarlet her liveFantasising about future possibilities is one of the most fun things about being a Gaga fan if you ask me. Gaga always changing so much, so it's only logical for people to get carried away by the figment of their own imagination.I'd personally love a more rock oriented album and I express that opinion regularly, but that doesn't mean that I'm demanding anything from Gaga. I'd be fine with a pop album as well - as will most others since that's why the majority of us are here in the first place. Ferrer Zorola 3,966
Girl, I survived a jazz album (and now I love it) she can release a heavy metal album and I'll still be here. When I say I gave my soul to her at that VMA's paparazzi performance, I mean it. LIFE IS GOOD
freebit 6,240
I think my worst nightmare is Gaga coming out with safe mall pop-rock in the vein of Avril, Kelly Clarkson, Hayley Williams etc. Personally I've just never really cared for that particular sound. That said, rock can be so diverse, and I'm open to hearing her try something a bit different from what she usually does. I think an album inspired by dance-rock would be cool (Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Garbage, The Killers, The Gossip etc.).
Katsuki Bakugo 9,788
I won't be a fan anymore if she doesn't make another song like poker face or dance in the dark best thing I've ever said... Nicole 1,809
Completely agree. Some fans are so close-minded and can't bear the thought of Gaga inching away from pop music. Idk why so many fans are against it? If she decides to do pop forever, good on her. If she decides to experiment with other genres, we should all welcome that as we would with pop. There other other artists that can fill your need for pop if it's that necessary in your lives. You don't have to love everything she might try in the future, whether it's rock or acoustic or R&B, but to completely speak nothing but negatively about the mere possibility without even hearing anything is pathetic. Kanye West 1,676
If the music is appealing, there won't be any problems. People just want bops, not specifically another Poker Face. KANYEWEST.COM
aaronyoji 2,054
pink? centuries? none of the examples listed really help your case lol....those are terrible im sorry.... if she made like good rock, maybe even some soft rock like fleetwood mac or joni mitchell. Knife 6,869
How about she release a solid pop album that goes off without a hitch before she dabbles in other genres? I'm not opposed to it happening, but your frame of reference for a rock style song Gaga would release is...Pink? Dig a little deeper. This is the same person that released a Jazz album with Tony Bennett.
giskardsb 12,565
Nobody should be dissin Pink, her latest album is killer and I could totally see Gaga going this style.
A Beaverhausen 280
I don't want gaga to ever stay in a box or just one type of Music genre, Rock music would be incredible for her- Imagine the raw emotion and kick ass vocals! She is a true and original artist who keeps getting better each year. out of this world talent :) I am OBSESSED and in love --4 life
Bradley 59,023
Maybe something like what Imagine Dragons or OneRepublic do but not Pink. I'm not sure global-wise but Pink is very irrelevant in my place. I'm pretty sure she isn't as relevant as them. I mean the last time she had public relevance was during the period of Just Give Me A Reason and it was the only time in a while.
