It would have been a summer anthem . All ppl would love this song b/c there a hip hop influences and Pop essence that is well produce . if DWUW video was realease . Miley and Katy weaves would never be seen again that in 2013. Gaga would dominate that year with that video with all the controversies plus , the production was so fresh ugh . But I've move on... Its such a flavorless song that I hardly even remember is on The Fame. Its understandable to me that in 2009 it held commercial value since its urban flavored and features Flo Rida but I dont think it stood the test of time let alone could be considered a highlight from the album. I mean its aiit for what it is I guess. Idk.Flo Rida was a huge reason for the single selling so well, I agree. I mean think about it. Lady Gaga is a new artist, people like Just Dance and Poker Face so they go look at her album and see the name Flo Rida (one of two features on the album) so they buy it. I have heard from countless and varied types of people that the only memorable song off of ARTPOP for them, is Gypsy.and they loved the song The future's uncertain and the end is always near. It's a banger and I've put it on in party settings/in car rides and people really like it, and surprisingly a lot of people know the words, or if not they bob their head to the beat, AND the fact that it's gold without any promo.... I don't get the huge appeal for Gypsy being a single. I don't think that would have saved ARTPOP. It wasn't a stand out song, in my opinion. MANiCURE should have been a single.
