Iwontell 7,312
Uh... "BeyGood" sounds so self centered. Yep...I have mixed feelings as well, tbh...like, it's a nice action, but, at the same time it really feels self promotion...and one could say the same about Gaga's BTWF or about the tsunami relief bracelets, but I just can't shake this feeling that this is different...I'm just trying to figure out why... ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.
StrawberryBlond 14,884
I love charity and anyone who supports charity is amazing but I hate how Beyonce always has to promote herself. I know all celebs including gaga need to promote themselves a certain way to recieve good press but I always see right through it with beyonceedit: she stamps her name on anything and everything I totally agree. Beyonce does very little charity work so when she does do it and her name's slapped on it, it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I mean, there's no other way to interpret this slogan other than "Beyonce is good" which is subconscious marketing at its finest. There's celebrities who do charitable deeds that come across as genuine and then there's others that just feel like vanity projects. And with Beyonce, I always gets the impression that she's firmly in that latter camp and does all this stuff according to the book of How To Be The Perfect, Likeable Celebrity. LoveandMagic 1,731
I think that's great! It's a good cause and I'm sure there are plenty of fans willing to buy! Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
