Bradley 59,023
Image is not the clothes Image is what people think of her. After the "fake" hip injury, the "fat" articles, the cancelled BTW ball and A LOT of negativity from every page with articles like "5 reasons why gaga doesn't matter anymore" her image was horrible. But people soon forgot about that when ARTPOP came out as this was all the events that happened in the Born This Way era. You are going to reply me that the negative articles and news in 2012 affected her career in 2013 but it seemed people were attacking her merely based on ARTPOP instead of her personal life. In fact people were happy that she recovered from her injury.

Not in 2012..Of course people were attacking her based on ARTPOP but she lost a big part of the GP with this negativity. (She possibly won A LOT of people back now in 2015). Born Brave 2,072
I think she's learned so much since ARTPOP, not to mention the fact that her new management team has basically put her back in the spot light and she's adored by the GP again. RedOne producing + Giorgio Moroder and Diane Warren + Nile Rodgers (did yall forget about him yet) The next album is going to be back to groundbreaking production and vocals that will make other pop singers run for cover. Aside from Adele, Gaga is really the only true powerhouse female vocalist around right now, at least that people remember or care about. Sure there are others but Adele and Gaga can use their voice to their advantage.
HANZ 4,380
she just needs to get her **** together and have the same ambition and motivation she had in the the fame+monster+born this way era and she could slay again and good producers this time too, Redone and Fernando Garibay make her shine ew at Madeon and DJWS My Favs = Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Ricky Martin, AKB48

Diane Warren and Nile Rodgers were only responsible for the song Til It Happens To You, not Lady Gaga's next album, if I am not mistaken. Anyway, I think RedOne and Giorgio Moroder are both more qualified producers, so I don't mind them not working on the full record.

ARTPOPchamp 292
I have this sudden strong feeling that Gaga can at least achieve a total of three/four #1s from her next album while listening to Rihanna's Loud. Singles from Loud which went to #1: First single - Only Girl (In The World), second single - What's My Name?, fourth single - S&M (Remix) It's really not that hard for someone like Gaga to have this achievement, considering all her advantages derived from the Cheek to Cheek impression. I have a lot of faith in her production of music so I'm not going to comment on that, I'm going to comment on just the promotion part of her next era. I think her first single should remain a solo track, and as long as she remains a decent appearance most of the time, it is very possible for her to grab her fourth #1, providing the song is catchy enough and not overproduced, because making sh1tty songs is never Lady Gaga's case, so her only problem is overproduction. Second single, I'd recommend a feature of an artist or several artists. However, I don't mean any artist though, I'm hoping for huge relevant artists like Sam Smith, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce or Adele. You might want to tell me that Gaga is not interested in contemporary artists but you're wrong, that was the case in 2010. It's 2015 now and she's worked with Christina Aguilera, T.I., Kendrick Lamar, will.i.am., David Guetta, and also expressed her interest in collaborating with Britney Spears, plus, she's LADY GAGA, she can work with anyone she wants, I mean it is very unlikely that someone will reject Gaga's phone call. The only person who would do that that I can think of is Eminem. Imagine an all star collaboration, say Gaga, Beyonce, Timberlake perhaps, isn't that a guaranteed Grammy and maybe even Record of the Year? Third single, solo again, but a heavy switch from the sound of the first and second singles. Fourth single, fifth and sixth singles - there must be a #1 coming out from three attempts. I was watching videos on YouTube yesterday and I just realized how easy it is to gain views nowadays:Katy Perry - Roar : 947,000,000 viewsKaty Perry - Dark Horse: 979,000,000 viewsKaty Perry - This Is How We Do: 315,000,000 views (THIS IS NOT EVEN A HIT)Taylor Swift - Shake It Off: 841,000,000 viewsTaylor Swift - Blank Space: 905,000,000 viewsWiz Khalifa - See You Again: 405,000,000 views (non-VEVO account)Mark Ronson - Uptown Funk: 705,000,000 views I was originally impressed by G.U.Y.'s views for garnering over 95,000,000 views altogether considering its underperformance when a top 3 hit like The Edge of Glory has only 86,000,000 views, but it's just the huge market today that's doing the job. Basically what I'm trying to say is that it's almost a guarantee that every Lady Gaga video released in the future will get certified. Do What U Want's video was almost a guaranteed success considering the nature of the video. Also do I have to remind you guys that G.U.Y. garnered over 7,000,000 views in 24 hours? With hardcore monsters like us giving initial support when new music comes out, there is no reason for Lady Gaga to flop. If other artists who don't have a large fanbase like how Gaga has can achieve tremendous success, why can't Gaga? All we need is an interesting thumbnail because we have to admit the thumbnail of a video can make a huge difference of the views it's going to have, Katy Perry's Birthday for example, failed to even get certified because of its boring setting. It's obvious Marry the Night could have gained more views if it had these as its thumbnail: instead of this: or For those of you who value artistry and insist that the makeup and wig and setting should have remained that way, there's nothing wrong with your opinion. But my opinion is that she could have delivered the same message and artistry in a different way, with a more appealing and interesting setting and appearance perhaps, thus introducing the message to more people instead of just little monsters, not to mention when the views are given to the video it will be easily nominated for awards. And recognition is not something bad, isn't it? Don't tell me you don't want Gaga to gain 800,000,000 views. So success in videos is almost guaranteed. One more very cheap way of gaining views is including hot guys and girls, THIS ALWAYS WORKS: Taylor Kinney Casper Smart Sean O'Pry So in short, the thought you're trying to convey is there is no excuse for Lady Gaga to underperform with LG5? I don't think Lady Gaga needs any gimmicks like other popstars or musical acts to be successful. However I do agree with the fact that the new album should be successful and not disappoint. She's been in the business long enough to know what works, she has said she studied the careers of other people and has studied the art of fame (her words), pair that with how long she's been given between releasing new material, she's had more than adequate amount of time to create some hit songs. Now if only she'd get some focus on the music, the dog fashion line for instance? I feel is a distraction from what she should be focusing on after the dismal performance of ARTPOP. She should put the fashion line on hold until she's like 7 months pregnant or has given birth, it could be a good hobby while she's taking a break from music to look after the baby. Right now, she doesn't need to be focusing on anything but music, and maybe her relationship with Taylor... but Gaga did once say "Some women choose to follow men, others choose to follow their dreams and career. Your career, unlike your lover, won't wake up one day and say they don't love you."

Iwontell 7,312
Well, there was also no reason for Rihanna's new singles, Madonnas new album or Britney's "Pretty Girls" to underperform and they still did...so I don't think things will go THAT smoothly, specially while Taylor is such an unanimity in the eyes of the media...If Gaga manages to produce one #1, two top fives and two top tens - and believe me, that won't be a simple task -, it would be enough. ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.
