THEY LOVED IT!

Lady Gaga takes "La vie en rose" by Edith Piaf in concert: masterful! (VIDEO)

In concert this weekend in Los Angeles with Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga surprised the audience by taking one of the most beautiful French love songs: "La vie en rose" by Edith Piaf. A sublime interpretation it has dedicated to both parents present first.

Between Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett, the agreement is looking good! Following the pretty critical and public success of their collaborative album "Cheek to Cheek" (2014), consisting of covers of classic jazz, pop star and the American crooner embarked on an extensive tour of 37 dates across the world. Several concerts are scheduled in Europe. On 8 and 9 June, the duo will perform in the legendary hall of the Royal Albert Hall in London, and then return to land in the old continent in July for appearances in major festivals, including Montreux. No appointment with the French public is programmed, except one evening in Monte Carlo in the principality of Monaco on 4 July. Fans unable to make the trip will have to settle the live DVD available since January and numerous screenshots videos circulating on the web.

Precisely, the last live Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett in Los Angeles has put the French language in the spotlight. After performing "Nature Boy," "Anything Goes" and "I Can not Give You Anything but Love" alongside his elder, the singer of 29 years was left alone on stage time to pay tribute to Edith Piaf. Tucked in a beautiful pink dress with ribbons created by her sister Natali, Lady Gaga took over "La vie en rose". The opportunity to showcase his qualities as an interpreter and polyglot! Despite his slight accent, the singer was not ashamed of his French more than respectable. At the end of his performance, beautiful and powerful, Lady Gaga dedicated the song to both parents Joseph and Cynthia, present that night in the lair of the Hollywood Bowl.
