Why did you choose to stan for Gaga as opposed to another artist?

Because she could back those fun bops with actual talent that seems to have endless possibilities. I knew when I first saw her play acoustic she was here to stay and do big things.

And she and I like a lot of the same things, it clicked like a friendship does. 

I get her and yet she keeps surprising me. She perfectly fits my ideal of a popstar. I never thought I would be stanning for anyone but she's just too amazing. 

I genuinely love the girl.

Mainly because of her music (it's just so good), but the more time passed the more I started to identify with her message of love and acceptance. She's an incredibly kind spirited person and I just love everything she stands for. You can tell that she isn't in it for the money.

Because Gaga is different, she has a talent, she is writing her songs, she is involved in their production, she is a great person, she is amazing like, puts on a show every night, makes music videos with meanings, has a sense od humor, makes dance/pop/rock songs, is dedicated to her fans... 

There are so many reasons why I love Gaga and why I chose to stan for her all these years and not for some other artist.

Gaga is Literally the ONLY pop music celebrity I have ever "Stanned" for in my entire life. 

I don't really have anything further to say, or to elaborate.... 

But as an artist & performer, her career is just mind blowing. What she has accomplished, and continues to accomplish... and just how OPEN and honest and loving and heart filled and joyful and full of Goddess energy she is......... She has my heart wrapped around her finger.

I was shocked by how good her voice and piano playing was. It only took a few acoustic videos and interviews before I was completely fascinated by her. It was strange how quickly I took to her. There was almost no adjustment period. I went from having a very low view of pop stars and not knowing anything about Gaga to loving her almost instantly. I spent the next few weeks binge watching every Gaga related video online I could find.  I found Gagadaily soon after and there was no turning back haha.

I downloaded The Fame and heard the '70s style in Brown Eyes and Again Again and I was like well this is interesting.. She has Just Dance and Poker Face and then this? I watched her sing Poker Face and Paparazzi acoustic and was amazed.

Then I started watching interviews and became addicted. I was just so drawn to her and I ate up everything she said about music, fashion, ambition..etc. Within a few days I was hooked.

I didn't choose to stan for her, she just really fascinated me.. still does.

I wasn't a fan in the beginning,when i first heard Poker face or Just dance.Paparazzi was the first Gaga song i fell in love with.She used to be all over the news,social media,so i wanted to know more about her.I read her entire wiki page,searched more of her songs.and i was really surprised that i loved every single track from her.and then i watched her videos,i was really blown away.She was so over the top,so messy in her videos,that i fell in love with her persona.
One day i found a website where they had every live performances by Gaga.i downloaded them all and when i watched her blood soaking paparazzi performance and The Monster ball tour videos,i was in heaven.i'd never seen anything like this and that's when i got obsessed with her.
I really don't care about other artists.I mean i listen to their songs and watch their videos but Gaga is the only one who gets me excited.I could watch her live performances over and over again but its not the same about other artists.their performances really bore me to death.Maybe its different when u see them live but that's how i feel when i watch them from a computer screen.

I didn't "choose" her over other artists. I just gravitate towards her because she's an incredible artist, her songs are exactly the kind I like to listen to, and she also helped me learn to accept myself. I can't say that about the other pop girls, so that's why I don't Stan for them. Simple as that, really. I certainly don't dislike them or create some kind of competition between them (a few of them are pretty good at doing that themselves tbh.)

For me it started out with hipsterly hate as well. I was introduced to her through my sister, who wanted me to listen to how ridiculous the song Pokerface was. I agreed that it was a little dumb, and then I followed it by watching Paparazzi and LoveGame out of general interest as to what mainsteam music had become, expecting to get a good laugh out of it. I then spent a good part of my evening looking for more stuff, because she did intruige me a little, but hadn't really captivated me yet.

The next day I hadn't really thought about her, but in the evening I suddenly decided that I wanted to learn a bit more and I chose to see if she could put on a good live show. And thus began the beginning of a new race 

I actually still don't stan for any other mainstream pop star, and my "hipster" taste in music is largely unchanged. I have become more open-minded to a lot of genres though.

I loved gaga since the fame and she was  the very first artist that I've seen who was authentic. I loved the fact that she has so much passion towards writing her music and as she writes her songs/albums she comes up with what the visuals would be and with each outfit there's iconography that's buried into it. And this may been said for how many times before but she is truly the reason why I accepted myself being gay and  you can clearly see it in her that she truly and deeply cares for fans and has touched millions of lives, she doesn't just preaches but she also puts her words into action. There is literally so much thought that is put into everything gaga does which makes her my Queen
