I think voting is for things that affect every citicien (which is fun because those are normaly not voted lol).

Well in Ireland's case they would be voted on; assuming the change affected the constitution (which is why the referendum was needed in the first place).

Funny how a supposedly strict Catholic country popularly votes for same-s-x marriage yet the United States, the land of milk and honey, fails to even have a public referendum on the matter and instead leaves it up to a bickering and aging population of Senators and Representatives and like 5 of the 9 Supreme Court Justices. I'm so proud to be an American where at least I know I'll be constantly screwed over by the legislation :neyde:

Congrats, glad to see the 'yes' vote won and it wasn't even close :flutter:

Too bad for their flop neighbours up north who look far away from ever legalizing marriage :messga:

Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn

I am pretty sure that more European countries would vote for same s-x marriage, if they had the chance to. Germany for example can't vote in favor of it because the leading parties have to change the law, but don't want to.

it's stupid and drives me so mad. Every party supports gay marriage and the majority of Germans do as well ,but fücking stupid scheiße beknackte CDU needs to ruin everything. Fücking hate them

Yay for the gays!!

Up to the next countries.

Still surprised that Germany doesn't have same s-x marriage. Like even more undeveloped countries in the EU have same s-x marriage, step up ur game Germany!

The majority of Germans and German party support gay marriage except for CDU. :flop:

We need to wait till 2017 or later.
