As long as she does it in moderation, we shouldn't need to worry. But also it could fit themes she's trying to achieve. Like in Born This Way with her Mugler debut she was smoking because she was a 'bad kid' which represented teenage rebellion and authority. Fame era she was grasping the image of party life and hinting at the things that could kill you slowly as a result of fame; the paparazzi crowding everywhere, smoking and drinking to deal with the pressure.
