Not really. The point of the thread was that some person thought that Gaga should write lyrics like her favorite bands. Others disagreed and thought that Gaga should continue to follow her own artistic vision.

I give up. I love her writing style. I don't relate to many songs of hers. I can name less than 6 of them I relate to. I'm just getting really bored of all the songs about fashion that costs thousands of dollars, songs about s-x (I'm ****ing as-xual. Okay? And i know I'm not the only one). i dont even wanna read all these posts before. like it or not ARTPOP was a mess. A hot mess. yes i also think much of ARTPOP doesnt even make sense. like we have Swine. My fave. song of her. but what the fck does "paint your face" mean. doing coca ? i dont know. That person wouldn't accept that others didn't want Gaga to sound like their favorite bands, so then went on to criticize Gaga's songwriting and lack of relatability, while posting an example of a song titled Kitchen Sink. Therefore, others had rebuttals to those claims and observations on the example song that was posted.

 Then you came in with your "no one can handle that Gaga isn't perfect" and people think everything she does is "divinely inspired", which no one was saying anyway...so that's why I responded to your exaggerated comment. People were simply saying that they could relate to some/many songs on ARTPOP, and they wanted her to follow her own vision and go the direction she wanted to go on the next album.

You and I both know that there's a great deal of group think that goes on. The second you possibly say Gagas's not perfect, some members get rabid. And I won't lie, I feel some members will simply say they relate when they really don't simply so they can give a defense.

That's not what people were saying in this thread, though, which is the point of this whole discussion. 

On the last statement: I'm sure that a few do that, but here at GGD, there is more than enough criticism of Gaga from her fans, to know that this isn't a place where everyone blindly thinks everything is always perfect.
