The world loved FierceGa

AGREE.

honestly i feel her confident attitude was such a facade in her early stages, because her music and image never really backed up the level of snootiness that she gave off. i feel that bad ass idgaf attitude most with born this way, and even during swine fest, when she was performing swine and talking about its meaning.

being vulnerable doesnt have to mean lack of confidence, of anything it takes a stronger willed person to be vulnerable.

Nah. F*ck the world. I really could care less about what the world loved or hated, as long as Gaga's good and happy she'll get by.

Maybe my thread wasn't clear enough. You two are clearly talking about the inner mindset Gaga has towards her career but my thread was about her expression, attitude and spirit on stage, the way she delivered her music. It's an artistry, seen only in The Fame.

You expect her to Rub blood on her Body and bath in Meat on stage with Tony singing "I cant give you anything but Love" ??

Do you want her burnt at the GP Stake again??

Did you not want her to have her Oscar moment?

Do you want her to be dragged to filth on every Media?

Do you hate her that much?

Are you mad my dear? Just because I complimented The Fame doesn't mean I hate Cheek to Cheek in fact I bought that album and am a fan of the album when so many other little monsters aren't. Read my comments above and maybe you'll get a better picture of what I was trying to deliver.

I strongly disagree. She was mysterious during TF/TFM eras exactly because she cared too much, she was insecure and she wasn't comfortable letting her true self out. The reason I became a stan is Swinefest - when she got off her wig, when she sang Aura, ARTPOP, and Swine! She is still fierce, she just gave up on being mystical. I'm in love with her character and I'm glad she is showing it. :wub:

sorry if you already made this clear in the OP but what fame-only artistry could you mean? i feel her work has a lot of recent moments both within btw and ARTPOP that show this fearlessness that you claim.

The irony of this thread is pretty funny. You're claiming gaga's "i dont give a ****" attitude is gone, yet the pop star that sold tens of millions of records and made a name for herself with pop music released a JAZZ RECORD that ended up going platinum and winning a grammy.

If that isn't "I don't give a ****" then I don't know what is.

Her attitude never left, she loves being in control and yes the ARTPOP era was messy (she fired her manager just as it was starting for goodness sake, the organization was all over the place and it showed) but she knows what's up. She's using RedOne, Moroder, Diane Warren, Nile Rodgers... she's no dummy.

She didn't fire her manager, he left her

The best part of Gaga was how mysterious she was :duck:

Since when? Every report I've ever read stated that she fired him.

She is not like that "today".. You chose one of her worst looks.. So annoying.

I miss it too :/ I think that it was a mix between her commitment to get known at the beginning, and later the management pushing her to be the biggest in the game.

But don't know... I'm wondering too.

I don't think that was because of insecurity. I think that was the desire and ambition to dominate and be prestigious.

I can't put it into words, you gotta understand it yourself. The Fame had that element, ARTPOP didn't. Her eyes spoke that fierceness which I didn't see in ARTPOP.

I know, I did that in purpose but most of her looks are like what I posted at the OP. The only 2015 look which topped the 2009 fierceness is this, she should have sung jazz with this makeup:

The misterious was amazing but, like in every relatioship, you can't keep the mistery forever and people would have get tired of that attitude too.

your point about being more confident is right, but we all have those times. I am sure that she will be back in full force next time because a lot of things were happening within the ARTPOP  era (internally with her manager and outside with the media).
