The world loved FierceGa

The attitude went away because she did accomplish all of that, and she quickly became overworked and burnt out while her whole career and life became mismanaged. Now that she's been through the worst of it and gotten her **** together in both her personal and professional life, plus the fact that she's taking time off for the first time since she started, I see no reason why she won't come back fiercer than ever next era. They say you have to go through hell to be resurrected.

Has it occurred to you that the Gaga we met in 2009 was an act to begin with, and that she is happier showing her vulnerability?

Nonetheless, I will say that her performances of "Swine" (iTunes and SxSW) alone are infinitely more raw and fierce than just about anything she did in her debut era. There is tremendous strength in exposing that side of yourself, a fire-bra and articulate posing is not necessarily required.

Just because I complimented her attitude in the past doesn't mean I think her attitude now is bad. :saladga:

You know what "fierce" was?  Putting it all on the line to support human rights for her fans.  Too bad many of those fans preferred a mysterious alien who acted above everyone else.

You clearly weren't here when she was promoting The Fame/The Fame Monster. Some fans got what I meant.

I dont think anybody that became fans during btw and ARTPOP era will ever understand your point lol I mean they're calling gagas music from The Fame "Radio friendly" when it really wasn't :smh: It just goes to show that they weren't fans during the fame era.

This.

Good god, no. First of all, been an avid follower since the day "Just Dance" hit. And yes, The Fame was indeed radio-friendly, at least the singles that people were aware of.

I highly doubt that. I'm talking about real fans that have been a fan immediately when The Fame album came out, was all over myspace, music videos, performances. Me and other early gaga fans have been following everything she did religiously since 2008 and we understood what she was about. Many say she was a character just because of her accent in spring 2009 but she was just as real and was pretty much of an open book about her life. Her music wasn't radio friendly. She had to hustle her ass off. She was on tour for new kids on the block to pay for her ****, get her song played on the radio. It took almost a year for just dance to even go on the top 10, not that it matters but a lot of her singles sounded different than a lot of other songs on top 40 radio. Her singles had a rough time mostly because hip hop was the thing during that time. There were some pop songs that were still getting played but gaga herself had to hustle and work her ass off. Will never understand the vendetta the new gaga fans have against her.

How was LoveGame and Poker Face radio-friendly? At least LoveGame wasn't.

No one said early stans are more superior. It's just that new fans don't seem to get how amazing Gaga was in 2009. I became a stan in early 2010 but still got what the elements Gaga had in 2009. Some fans like you seem to not notice at all.

Actually I wasn't here when The Fame came out, I was only 11 years old. I became a fan during the Telephone era and started to watch every The Fame performance since then.

Oh no I wasnt particularly saying only fame era fans understand her but majority of gaga fans (btw and ARTPOP era ones) tend to discredit her early work and call it "basic" and "mediocre". Everyone has their own opinion but a lot just don't do their research lol.

I feel lucky, or maybe it's because of my own effort, for loving every Gaga work that she put out. I used to dislike some songs but now I almost love them all. In fact I apply this to every artist I listen to not just Gaga and I find myself able to enjoy a lot of material. But The FameGa really impressed me.
