Finally someone I can sit with because none of these other gals commenting share the same view. Vera Wang isn't cutting for me at all because she is Lady ****ing Gaga. She can look classy but she's a Rich b---h. The Upper Class. Actually, the article says "The couple, who got engaged last Valentine’s Day on February 14 after four years of dating, are planning to exchange vows in a “relaxed beach wedding” this summer at the 29-year-old singer’s $23 million mansion in Malibu, California." I'm not expecting Avant-garde space hooker with pasties and a headpiece, but I don't think Gaga would pick a dress for her wedding just because other celebs wear her. If she starts looking to the Clintons, Trumps, and Hillary Duff for style inspiration it's the dawn of a dark day for fashion. Tisk tisk tisk, before you know it, she might as well wear some vintage from nobody, following Carrie's steps. And it will be a field day for some of you crying about it. What you seems to miss, Vera's dress brought out the girly side of a woman no matter how tough she is. And look at Gaga lately, she is brooding and more on the feminine side, as one of her lastest instapost said, "cook meals for her fiancee", she doesn't seem to mind to be a house wife. So I won't surprise if she really wear Vera. Otherwise it is her choice. Her wedding. We just can go as far as rants on tumblr and online forums of she wear something unexpected or better yet, predictable. It can be tempting to want Gaga to be pretty and keep up the status quo with the other rich ppl. I've got nothing against Vera's designs in particular and I wouldnt be surprised if Gaga wore something of hers one time or another; but I think Gaga will pick something more personal for her wedding. Not necessarily weirder, but more personal. Vera Wang would be a VERY safe choice.With her connections and friends in the fashion industry I doubt she'd rather pick Vera over any of those of which we we know that she loves to work with and I assume would favour.It's not something that Gaga would do.
