PartySick 159,998
welp that's the thing I'm not here for "mini-movies" along with many people a lot of us just want music videos and have a good and quick time watching them If I wanted a movie I would watch one and don't tell me "don't watch them then" cause I already don't do that, lol Then continue to do so, what's the problem? lol. It's Gaga's prerogative tbh and I don't see her putting out basic vids like Katy and others anytime soon (not trying to drag them, just saying). Just skip ahead to the song and we'll enjoy the video in full. Everyone's happy  🌸Flourishing and vibrant🌼

Bradley 59,059
It always irks me that Gaga never cared about this easy strategy to gain herself more views. I mean she did a short version of G.U.Y., but then the views were separated into the two videos that exist which made it even worse.
Alfonso 1,549
Music not the bling. Thanks God we have masterpieces like Paparazzi, Telephone, Alejandro, the beautiful MTN and one of Gaga's best videos; G.U.Y. I prefer that the videos continue being that long, and with that quality; instead of being short and cheap. I know it's nice to have millions and millions of views, but look at Rude Boy (+309M views) and Marry The Night (+62M) LONG LIVE the queen LONG VIDEOS /thread This

SlaeUrAnus 15,959
I disagree to an extent. Yes some of Gaga's videos are long (excluding BR that has 620m views) but during 2012/13 Gaga was nowhere to be seen.During those times, YouTube exploded and started becoming enormous. Â Katy and Rihanna took advantage of this and stayed in the public eye. That is why they have like 15m subscribers and Gaga only has like 6m. In my messy era. Creyk 17,810
I find it sad that Applause, Gaga's most successful ARTPOP-era video (with a competition of only one ) and only as long as the song itself, pales in views in comparison to other 2013-14 "hits", especially This is How We Do.  Let's be real though, even as a Gaga stan I see that This is how we do's video is 100000 times better than Applause. Applause is a good song but the video is....not impressive

Or that her head is edited on a swan? Or that she is in a cage with messed up TFM-like styling? I don't see it.I will say that the last 30 seconds are very energetic and great, but the rest of the video is lackluster

Robinladen 1,527
Yes, some flop songs even have over a 100 million views nowadays. If G.U.Y. was a short video, I think it would have been too. If you combine the short and long version it's not that far of from 100 million I think.
