I mean if you're gonna say nearly everyone does it, that's a big statement! The singer-songwriters I listen to - Vanessa Carlton, KT Tunstall, Sara Bareilles, Gaga... - certainly write about people they know from time to time, but Taylor has really become known for doing this.
