Serendipity 7,821
Explain that to the -at least- 10 people here that made an ageist remark about it.Tell meThese haters probably won't hold a light to her present look in their 50s See talent here-->http://bit.ly/2eqeUxK
Whispering 18,865
All the girls on college campuses had this hair, in various color choices, a few years back. I don't see it so much now.
dlioncourt91 765
And it seems her message is working. It brings out all the people saying "act your age" "she should be doing this or that." Since when has Madonna not pissed off people?Must be a lot of new fans. This is WHAT the woman has been about all her career. Don't know why it shocks to see her doing the opposite of what people expect. Tone it down - tone it up. Act your age - act like a teenager. Be classy - fishnets and bra. She uses s-x to sell - ROL and Music. Her career is over - Evita, ROL, Music, AL, Confessions. The woman knows what she's doing.

I think a lot of people are jealous that she can still slay even in her 50sShe is the queen of re-inventionsAnd I definitely know she's gonna make a massive comeback again See talent here-->http://bit.ly/2eqeUxK
Carmex 964
I think this is really cute. Her hair looks really pretty like that. I hope we get the music video soon.
Vernier 3,786
Love it And you'd think a thread about something as irrelevant as pink hair would be harmless, but apparently not Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn
JusKeepBreathin 19,311
What kind of reverse world lmao. Ghosttown (song & vid) is as basic as basic gets.On-topic: I think she looks cute, nothing more, nothing less. Definitely this one picture doesn't deserve accusations of her trying to be young or whatever. That applies to every single celebrity nowadays anyway. We'll see what you all have to say when Gaga's still trying to be edgy at 50.This arguement about age is ridiculous. Barbra Steisand doesn't need to be edgy to sell albums and she is in her sixties. Then again when "trying to edgy" is your only talent (song writing too) people will criticize you for it when it fails. Just like people critize Mariah's voice. With C2C Gaga says I can be the Lady or the Gaga. She has the talent to let the edgy go and just shut the house down with her voice. Madonna needs to go the way of Cyndi Lauper. Jjang 2,262
This agreement about age is ridiculous. Barbra Steisand doesn't need to be edgy to sell albums and she is in her sixties. Madonna needs to go the way of Cyndi Lauper.Barbra Steisand was never edgy to begin with, despite her musically stunning musical efforts.Claiming that Madonna's only talent is trying to be edgy is rather a very narrow minded way of thinking mixed with ignorance. I don't think she was trying to be edgy as much as she was living in the moment, heck, she ****ing dyed her hair. Stop addressing it like its some sort of a performance art of which she invested time and thoughts into, she's probably going to change it back in like 20 hours.Anyway, what i see is just a bunch of bothered fans on a pop forum that will use every opportunity they see to make a lowkey ageist remark about Madonna in order to get away with it, not realizing how completely hypocrite they come across.Madonna doesn't need to go the way of Cyndi Lauper, that's another ageist remark, which follows the same vein of the "too old for pop" logic. What you're saying is that she should make music within the genres of blues and soul (which are considered to be a genres of age aka old people). That sir, is an ageist remark. Just like that. What you're saying is that she should make music within the genres of blues and soul (which are considered to be a genres of age aka old people). That sir, is an ageist remark. Just like that. Barbra was edgy in some ways but it was never the true focus of her talent. Madonna is the Queen of Reinvention. In other words Queen of edginess. She has tried to stay two steps in front of every other pop diva. This time around she failed and has been critizied for it. Just like I said when people critizied Mariah for not having the same voice. Also about Cyndi Lauper. Yes Cyndi's last album was Blue's that doesn't mean every Blue's singer is over 40, 50 or 60. That was kinda a silly remark considering RnB is sung by pretty much everyone. Jazz also has young singers. So you are displaying reverse ageism. You are placing an older age on a genre of music. Let me be more clear on my reference to Cyndi Lauper. She wrote all the music to The Broadway play Kinky Boots. She won a Grammy and the show was nominated for 13 Tonys. She won her Tony for Best Original Score the only woman to ever win it solo. The show plays on four different cities plus touring for 6 to seven days a week. She is doing just fine collecting her huge pay checks. I think Madonna can do the same and create something brilliant. That's just my opinion. If you want her to continue to make pop music until she dies that's your opinion. It's bizarre how good she has been looking lately...Madonna + long hair ="ray of light" for me :P ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Disregard 50
She really doesn't get it. It doesn't matter what color she dyes her hair, what hashtags she overuses, or what current producer she co-opts to create her current sound. Nobody of the current generation takes her seriously because she continues to present herself as a tryhard embarrassment. Nobody can relate to her, nobody takes her seriously as a provocateur in the modern age, and nobody other than her fanbase thinks she has anything significant to say. It's no wonder Gaga has a problem connecting to the current public if we're to believe she's such a latch-on coattail rider like Madge's out-of-touch fanbase likes to believe.
