With her 45th #1 single on the Dance Club Songs chart (Ghosttown climbed to the #1 position this week) Madonna now has the most #1's on a single Billboard chart surpassing George Strait who has 44 #1's on Hot Country Songs.

What a remarkable achievement. I think she also has (or is one of the artists with) the most combined #1's on EVERY Billboard chart.

Madonna's long list of Dance Club #1's starts all the way back to her first Hot 100 entry Holiday

Let's see 45 #1's on Dance Club Songs, 12 #1's on the Hot 100, and 8 #1's on the Billboard 200....that's 65 #1's on just 3 charts alone. Queen.

Probably. When You & I topped the chart it was a remix. Fun fact, Gaga has 13 #1's on this chart. All of her singles went #1 on it except Just Dance (ironic), DWUW, and G.U.Y. Although that just amounts to 12 #1's, Video Phone makes 13.

Queen of the Dance Gay Charts  :gaycat:

You know a chart is super gay when Madonna, Gaga, Rihanna, and Beyonce all have a ton of #1's on it.

I never understood how that chart works. How do they know what are the most played songs in clubs?
