I've never heard of him but I REALLY like the song and video you posted Is all of his solo music like that or does he change sounds through out his albums? Im definitely going to listen to this album that just came out.

This album in particular has a throwback sound and Brandon said before that he wanted a happier, poppier, more commercial sound for the second album. So to answer to your question, his first album is still really good but it has slower, sadder more hipster sounding songs. I guess you could kind of compare it to Lana a little bit?

Im actually almost done listening to Flamingo (track 11) and I love it, Im pretty sure Im going to like the second album more since Im a big fan of the new wave influences that I heard on the 2 songs you posted. :)
