When Rihanna couldn't stop releasing albums while we were waiting, the one thing that was keeping me going was knowing that she only does it so fast because she has a team working round the clock for her and the constant releasing was doing nothing for her album's quality. It looks like even after all this time, a gap isn't even going to help her improve. I would rather Gaga take her time to produce music that's worthwhile and comes from her heart. And really, if Gaga did make something new every year, there'd be nothing to look forward to and it would become a monotonous routine. No one would have any money to buy a new album and singles every year, plus tour tickets and merchandise. The public would get so sick of her, which is currently what is happening with Rihanna. I ultimately don't understand the point of annual releases, especially when you have a young fanbase with very little disposible income. Eventually, they'll have to draw a line and say "maybe I'll buy the album but not the singles this time" or "I've seen them on tour every year, I can miss this one."
