​Well..Rihanna has some awesome singles..But her albums are always FULL of fillers,boring songs and generic lyrics.. So yeah.. I think it's offensive to even compare their music ,,

​theoretically speaking, a yearly release wouldn't be too far outside of Gaga's capability given how fast she can write a song (Born this way, just dance, bad romance, etc being written in minutes). The thing with gaga is that she is a perfectionist and will literally work on an album until the day of its release- constantly going in and out of the studio. I don't think a yearly release would sacrifice her quality either, given that she's been able to release hq records in short times (like the examples i've already listed). 

​She wrote Born This Way in minutes but she and DJWS spent nearly 10 months producing and tweaking it. Songs of her quality take time, just be patient. I'd rather wait for good music than have a lot of less than impressive stuff.

I'm not here for it. Rih can do it since she doesn't write her own record. Gaga is different. She wants to create an album that's being written mostly by her, she stands to her artistic integrity, and she makes sure her album is well- written so it might took at least 2 years for her before she can release a new original album.

You have to realize though Rihanna is able to do that because she barely contributes to the songwriting and production. She has people write songs for her, and she listens to demos of songs and then selects songs she likes and put them on her album. Her 8th album is really the only one she has contributed to writing.

Also, do you even actually see a cohesive theme or sound to Rihanna's albums? No you don't. Any messages other than "look at me, I'm so great!" Again, no.
