OMFG! Please don't be true. And if it does come true, I hope its exclusivity is only limited to streaming, meaning the album will be available for physical and digital purchase upon its release no matter what. As much as I want to hear the new album already, it will never make me sign up for Tidal. Heck, nothing could make me sign up for it, with all the current alternatives which are way more customer-friendly. If I want to buy the album, I'll buy it. Not only will this idea of a 100% Tidal-exclusive be disastrous, but this will also be plain greedy, and worse it's greed that'd be way out of place.

And we thought ARTPOP was bad, yet Rihanna isn't getting ANY media flack the way Gaga did... :smh:

Rihanna...I know you feel you gotta stay on Tidal for Jay-Z, but this is YOUR career....just wow...this album will flop SOOOOOOOOOO hard opening with 10,000 copies sold in the first week :lmao:

I guess they don't even care about Rihanna at all

Rih's team obviously signed a contract to Tidal and they can't back-out now, they dumbly assumed that Tidal would be a hit app since it has a JayZ and Bey on it, including the big names who joined this train wreck. Poor them, the app will never happen whatever tricks they will do.

This is really a tragic messy era, messier than ARTPOP and Britney Jean.

****ing mess, why are they using Rihanna as their guinea pig?

I'll laugh forever if Jay-Z or Beyonce release their next albums normally.

Nekci Menij show needs to start up again, and pursue this!

Yes .But Rihanna is doing a lot worse than Gaga so far.

Yes and it's being blamed on TIDAL. Which is probably accurate

Y'all care too much. She has enough money to "flop", I at least admire her for taking risks and playing by her own rules this time. I don't believe this will "kill" her career either. In any case it makes her a more interesting and daring artist than we're used to in the pop universe.

But as usual, people prefer to discuss a financial downfall. Shallow.

I just feel bad for her. When an artist takes big risks and tries to push themselves creatively I want them to succeed with universal acclaim. But if this album is what she wanted and she can get it out I would consider it a success, even if it only sold 5k.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
