Morphine Prince 106,214
inb4 this is all part of Jay-Z's plan to destroy other people's careers so him and Beyonce will come on top. Tidal exclusive is so stupid... you are only reaching like 800k subscribers? Her loyal fans will buy her album anyway but the general public now uses Spotify to stream more than any other service. Robotboy 1,700
like. rihanna doesnt have that kind of fanbase. do they expect people to move to tidal because her album will be on there? she better get alot of money from this deal. Remember that you are unique. Like everyone else.

JustPokeHerFace 2,564
We should count our blessings that ARTPOP did 750k in the US, and had two singles sell over 1m copies.
Supersonic 49,376
Inb4 she still makes more money from Tidal's 800k than from Spotify.

Didymus 34,380
Y'all care too much. She has enough money to "flop", I at least admire her for taking risks and playing by her own rules this time. I don't believe this will "kill" her career either. In any case it makes her a more interesting and daring artist than we're used to in the pop universe. But as usual, people prefer to discuss a financial downfall. Shallow. But as usual, people prefer to discuss a financial downfall. Shallow. I don't really think it is a particularly daring or interesting move. It looks like just another poor decision to further alienate the public from supporting R8, which we already know is nowhere near matching the success' of her previous albums or singles. What I find funny with this, is that if its true, she is willing to invest an entire album in a service which is also not doing well by any means, and has failed to take off or have any real impact. I will add though, that I do admire her decision to make the music she wants to this time, despite expectation. That is daring and interesting.
