YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ME. SHE GAINED 10M FROM THE ARTRAVE NOT CTC TOUR

ohh obviously do you not know how tours work , they have to pay off the stage , the lighting elements all of that , the producers get royalties every show , the writer gets paid , the venue gets paid , and the dancers get paid , and the band gets paid , sooo

Haroon

I think this is great by the way :excited: Landing in the Top 20 during a questionable overall era, well, an era that wasn't as big as her previous ones, this is still an achievement to be celebrated

Gaga's artRAVE made $83,040,746 (She got 10.5M)

1D tour made $290 million (they got 40.7M)

Katy's Prism $147,543,473 (she got 24.9M)

As you see, it's not just in Gaga's case... It has to be like that tbh, these are all huge productions.

Apparently it's US only. Yass!

METHODOLOGY: Money Makers was compiled with Nielsen Music and Billboard Boxscore, 2014 U.S. data only. Revenue from merchandising, synchronization and sponsorship is not included. The following royalty rates, minus a 4 percent producer's fee, were used: album and track sales, 22 percent of retail revenue; streaming revenue, 22 percent for current acts and 50 percent for heritage acts. Publishing royalties were estimated using statutory mechanical rates for album and track sales and the Copyright Royalty Board streaming formula; for labels' direct deals with interactive services, blended audio and video rates of, respectively, $0.0075 and $0.0045. (A 10 percent manager's fee was deducted from each category.) Touring revenue equals 34 percent of an act's Boxscore.
