HANZ 4,380
Like I was saying on Twitter, this is completely disgusting. Why do they even need an anti-gay day? Isn't that like every day for the rest of the world? THIS My Favs = Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Ricky Martin, AKB48
MahoganySnitch 67
She also said some students began circulating a “lynch list” of students who had participated in the Day of Silence and that a noose was tied to a flag in one teacher’s classroom."I refuse to think someone sat down and orchestrated this. Ugh.
JustPokeHerFace 2,564
I'm pretty sure Jesus, who preached love and acceptance of everyone, would be very proud.
Iwontell 7,312
This kind of action should definitely be treated as a crime...this is not freedom of speech, this is just is a distortion, this is heinous...ppl need to learn once and for all that they only choose a religion (and all it's stupid dogmas and bull**** doctrine) for their lives, they can't shove it down other ppl's throat like that! ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.
LeoFameMonster 1,592
Its funny how little these people know about God and Christianity. How many times did Jesus Condemn Homos-xuality the answer is ZERO, how many times did Jesus condemn divorce about 6 times. Also in the Bible adultery is talked about much more severely and is considered a worse sin than Homos-xuality. But where are the rallies and anti-divorce hatred for that?? Hypocrites and hateful people hiding behind religion.
Electric Phire 98
I can't believe this actually happened. To think there are actually people in this world who harbor so much hate and fear is unimaginable. Makes me sick and terrified at the same time. Dayman 6,251
I wanna see the "It's just their opinion, get over it" fraction of GGD defend this bullsh*t. Y'all go buckwild crazy about straight people or white people jokes when sh*t like this actually happens and potentially gets people killed. They lost their right to their opinion the second they threatened to physically harm other people. There's a pretty clear cut difference once threats of violence are brought into things.
LoveandMagic 1,731
"Students at a Pennsylvania high school held an “Anti-Gay Day” protest on Thursday, wearing coordinated flannel shirts, writing “anti-gay” on their hands, and sticking Bible verses on LGBT students’ lockers." "The anti-gay protest occurred a day after students with the school’s Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) held a “Day of Silence,” an event aimed at drawing attention to anti-gay bullying." "I got called a dyke, a *******,” Johnson said. “They were calling us every horrible name you can think of.” "Johnson said some of the students uploaded Bible verses to Instagram and tagged out gay classmates. She also said some students began circulating a “lynch list” of students who had participated in the Day of Silence and that a noose was tied to a flag in one teacher’s classroom." Lynch List Full story here: http://www.buzzfeed.com/davidmack/mcguffey-high-anti-gay-day?bffb&utm_term=4ldqpgp#.dcDZAJEKp This disgusts me that people would do this ! This is flat out bullying with threats of violence and an absolute outrage! She also said some students began circulating a “lynch list” of students who had participated in the Day of Silence and that a noose was tied to a flag in one teacher’s classroom." I refuse to think someone sat down and orchestrated this. Ugh. There should be security cameras in the school. If I was a parent of an LGBT kid, I would demand that the person who did it be kicked out. Then I would immediantly call my lawyer. The fact that their parents probably knew their plan and didn't say anything It's disturbing. I would recommend the school call each parent up and start expullsion, but these same people would just cry about how they have the religious right to be threatening assholes. God knows what is said at home. They probably have their sheets bleached weekly. Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
