Fifteen time Grammy winner and A-list NAACP awarded princess of R&B Alicia Keys and 8 times Grammy winner Pharell Williams (both of whom won Grammy awards for their most recent releases in 2013/2014) were part of that soundtrack that featured compositions by Hans Zimmer.

​The more their reasoning comes off lame with the inclusion of these artists whose global drawing power in moving albums were not that far from Gaga's at that time, if not less compared to her. She's also neither the only one who got into a rather small issue prior to the release of the film. So if they included these two, why not Gaga? Because she's lame for an issue which wasn't widely talked about in a global scale, as compared to the other issues Gaga was the center of? That's what bugs me. But anyway, these things are all from the past and there's nothing that could be changed about them - other than react to the one of the lamest reasonings I've read for a very long time.
