I do not think so, Beyoncé changed a lot too, if you pay attention to her songs, performance, videos, now she is more focus on make something mature and with a concept than make just radio-friendly songs. She is now a wife, mother, and all these things have influenced her materials.

And they always change, the point is that Gaga is the kind of artist who really take risks, she honors her creative visions, no matter how big will be the consequences (affecting success, charts, midia loving you, awards, acclaim...)
