Apparently, he's hated Madonna because he didn't get the exclusive of her pregnancy back in the day and he's hated her ever since.

​Yes. When is was a UK newspaper editor, he had info for a juicy story on Madonna and Liz Rosenberg (her publicist) lied and talked him out of running it, and the next day, Madonna sold the story to a rival paper.

Piers is a like a bulldog, piss him off, he doesn't let it go.
