An album like Bloody Mary and ARTPOP?

I'd love to see that. She said that she didn't "over-produce" ARTPOP (song). Like when they made the first version it stayed like that. So maybe she should tone down over-producing some songs. Like all those changes we saw on ARTPOP (album) compared to the iTunes festival, I hate them. 70% of them. MANiCURE, Sex Dreams etc. So maybe she did the same with Bloody Mary. I remember I freaked out just when I first heard the instrumental for it in Gagavision. I love those songs, pop perfections.

I remember hearing somewhere that Fernando said that the demo of Bloody Mary was very similar to the final product.

i'd also like to point out their productions are more minimal (especially ARTPOP) as opposed to other songs on both records. I hope she does something even more minimal

Yes, yes, yes, yes and yes...

These songs are pure poetry, and Gaga is such an amazing songwriter, she should show that more often...

"A hybrid can withstand these things
My heart can beat with bricks and strings
My ARTPOP could mean anything..."

"We are not just art for Michelangelo
To carve, he can't rewrite the aggro of my furied,
Heart, I'll wait on mountain tops in Paris cold
Je ne veux pas mourir toute seule.."

:legend::legend::legend:

They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

Yas please an album full of Bloody Mary, not ARTPOP tho because ARTPOP imo has weird vocals.

it was suppose to have space-y vocals i'm sure

How are those songs the experimental stand-outs though? :rip:

Plenty of better alternatives on each album. I mean, hello. Anyway, following your logic which I don't agree with, I'd add So Happy I Could Die and Paper Gangsta.

what do u find more experimental than those? when all of ARTPOP (except Dope) is atypical EDM + pop & BTW is a mish-mash of new wave, her regular electro-pop sound & 80's pop inspiration

They're as experimental as Gaga can get (as far as we know). They break the typical pop bop formula of songs such as Just Dance, Venus, Monster etc.

SHICD could just maybe qualify but it isn't the same dark sythy sound. Paper Gangsta nah. It's not dark pop. It's more urban.

imo ARTPOP isn't particularly dark & SHICD does qualify bc it's very different from what she normally does (Teeth as well) and the subject matter >

The thread was originally meant to be how track 8 on all her albums sounds different from the rest (MH being the closest to an exception). So I agree about Teeth too but idk it doesn't fit with BM and AP.

I think Teeth doesn't fit bc it's upbeat where as those two are mid-tempo
