R.I.P. to them, they lived extremely long lives and I hope they lived them happily  

Amazing that they've lived through so much! I'd love to sit down with them and just discuss their lives and how things were like when they were growing up, so we can compare how different it is now

Thing is, to live that long u have to be super healthy and have good genes also. Most of these ppl at 100 still walked around just fine and had energy so its not like ur stuck in a wheel chair for 30 years

Of course. I just think it is more of a bad thing. These people have probably seen all their friends, family and children die.

Japanese Misao Okawa (117) died last Wednesday, 

The American Gertrude Weaver (116) was declared oldest person on earth shortly after Misao died

But she died yesterday (Monday)

The oldest person now is the American Jeralean Talley (115), born in 1899.
