Right now she is fat and she's not an actual jazz singer, despite claiming she was singing jazz since she was a ****ing fetus, hence my previous words. It's not even an opinion.Lol OK. Jazz critics enjoyed the album, Gaga exhibits natural phrasing and swing, and Tony Bennet calls her a good jazz singer. standards have a long history in jazz, and other than a few jazz hipsters everybody considers them part of the long history of jazz music. Yes she has room to grow and center in on her own style. Gaga is a jazz singer even if shes not doing it full time and not trying to mimic Diane Krall. It's just weird. She is acting like a typical celebrity and I used to like her because she wasn't that conventional. I don't know, I am not feeling her aura/vibe anymore. Maybe that will change with her next album cycle, maybe not. It depends on how much she is willing to put into her artistry again. Gorgeous instagram photos can only do so much. JEANBO 364 Posted May 3, 2015 Share Posted May 3, 2015 I think the reason why ARTPOP isn't loved as much as other albums is because ARTPOP didn't have some particular "theme" or even if it had, it was to complicated to understand.
