Her stages cost $MILLIONS$, yet people don't buy records anymore, with her established public persona proving too edgy for general audiences to fill up arenas night after night. Her spectacles/success over the years were a PHENOMENON, like Michael Jackson's fame during Thriller era. You can't possibly replicate a miracle. You have a point too. The mysterious lady gaga wouldn't go around sharing details about her private life + the fact that she's engaged! That's not lady gaga the artists, that's lady gaga the CELEBRITY. I don't want Gaga to be a focking CELEBRITY, going around interviews and sharing the details of the life of her parents etc etc.I get what you mean. I mean imagine right now everytime someone asked her sth about her peronal life and she responded "I don't wanna answer that"or sth similar like she did in TF/M what kind of sad and awkward interview will that be. Like it's okay being mysterious but at some point u'll be left with nothing more to hide. Like she go engaged everyone asks her about the engagement and she replies "Ughm I can't confirm anything"then u see candid of her with a ring on her hand ..... she will just look stupid. + I think that with Taylor she didn't said anything about their releationship in 2011 because she was probably just unsure if they will stay together for long or not Sometimes when u tell somebody something personal doesn't mean that u invite them to ur house or life, but means that u just give them the thing they want, u make them happy so they wont ask more questions. And that's true. What really moved me about Gaga was the fact that every move had a little secret message behind. Now, we know that message before hand and, guess what, it's freaking mundane. But we know Gaga specifically cultivated that mystery and while mystery can be lost a persona can be cultivated and new mystery can be created. I think of Michael Jackson who basically settled into the same look/fashions after the BAD era but who basically continued to cultivate an elusive persona for the rest of his life. It was all about the magic and this is something we know Gaga is good at. So I think there are things she can do to rebuild this essence which we all associate with her. I basically think that's what she's planning. I see where you coming from but her letting her guards down happened over the course of like 3-4 years and gone too far so going back I do not think is an option. It would hurt and confuse the sense of connection a lot of fans have with her. Besides MJ was big during a period of time with NO social media. People like Gaga and her crazy following cannot escape that anymore these days which does not help her "persona" Maybe she will be more quiet once she's married about her personal life cause she's been (for her doing) quite frank about it and will have to take Taylors feelings into consideration. Thank you. Don't get me wrong guys! I'm waiting for her to come back, just with the pop record with a TWIST and a THEME, sth that she delivers the best. Focking big pop hooks and great compositions like TEOG - she should definitely go that way. But that's just my wishful thinking and you might not agree, ofc. Venus was focking heaven, it saved the ARTPOP era for me. so your here for the big hits & commercial success? BUY BEAUTY BEHIND THE MADNESS ON ITUNES.
