Every good person with a normal function brain is a feminist. Every other person is a just stupid.

I'm not a feminist. The word has changed its meaning. See the "jazz hands" thing. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/mar/24/feminist-conference-says-clapping-triggers-anxiety/

My god. :later:You have the Tumblr "Feminist" Reich to thank for this. There are some true feminists out there that get shot down because of the actions of the inferior subspecies. Sad.

Nod if you wanna make love with the enemy. ❤

It still boggles the mind that men are so bothered by women trying to get equal footing in society :duck:

Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn

When will people start caring about their own lives, instead of others. Do your thing, and let others do their own if it doesn't affect you. It's a shirt btw, who the hell cares.

exactly

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

Yes, I never was against feminism.

I just said that the way she approached the idea was immature. There's effective ways of changing society, wearing a shirt to a bar is not one of them.

How is she in the wrong for wearing a shirt which expresses her views on equality. :wtf:

Oh shut up, you guys are so wrapped up in thinking that social justice is easily obtainable through petty things like this. Women from 1918 didn't march for hours on end to get their right to vote so you can wear "feminist" shirts in bars.

It's extremely pretentious on her part and if she REALLY cared about women rights she would do something more effective.

Woman in throughout history did march and protest so they could wear WHATEVER they wanted.

Woman through out history did march and protests so that men or anyone couldn't dictate what they thought was appropriate attire for any occasion.

So don't try that woman in 1918 didn't..." stunt here. This is what woman have always wanted. To be able to wear whatever they want like men can. The only people in the wrong here are the people who think she deserves in the slightest bit of criticism/threats for wearing a damn shirt.

And how do you know she doesn't do something that you would describe as "more effective"? You don't. And her wearing that T shirt is helping the cause. She's letting people know that she is a female who has the right to wear whatever she wants, and that she shouldn't be judged for it. She is helping the cause by expressing that she is a feminist of the 21st century which means that even in the 21st century, we still need feminism. This simple act may not be as big as going on a hunger strike for the rights to vote like the suffragettes did, but it still helps.
