PerfectMonster 203
The paintings at the Louvre really encompass what ARTPOP is about though. A pop artist in artwork. Her as Mona Lisa was another moment where she showed what ARTPOP meant. That was actually when I finally understood what the whole concept was about. yesss this tbh
Shadow 6,630
Technically, art is what she does since she's an artist. Pop is short for popular (music or culture). If you're asking if she put art into her popular music then, it was always there since she started...Remember, ARTPOP is a reference to Andy Warhol's idea of pop art, since he incorporated imagery of pop icons into his art. She took art icons and put them into her music, if not in theme, at least in presentation via her fashion or performances. Do your own research. Sister 9,907
I feel like she did so in the presentation, but that is all. I do like quite a few song from the album, though. The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
